Deliberate cold exposure for health, isn’t something new. Many cultures have known about this Health & Wellbeing gem for thousands of years. Dr Susanna Soberg, international scientist and expert in cold water therapy is at the cutting edge of research into deliberate cold exposure:
“We all know what it feels like to have a lot on our mind. in my experience, the cold makes you feel great during good times, but even better in bad times. There’s nothing - no medication, no other form of exercise - that can shock you out of your head and back into your body like cold water can.”
Dr Susanna Soberg

Where: You can start with a cold shower at home.
How to start: At the end of a warm shower turn the temperature to cold for 15-20 seconds. Progressing to 90 seconds. Take as many days or weeks to build up to 90 seconds, don’t hurry your cold water progress. Cold Water exposure should not be a competitive activity.
How often: At least 4 days per week on average to receive the health benefits. The positive effects last even longer when practiced on a regular basis.
